Serrano Country Club

The Serrano Country Club is a private country club that is owned and managed by members situated at Serrano. It is a specially designed neighbourhood in the El Dorado Hills. This El Dorado Hills Country Club can be reached by driving eastwards along the Highway 50, then turning right at El Dorado Hills Boulevard, and again right on Serrano Parkway. The facilities provided include:

 The Golf Course is a 18-hole, par-72, championship course providing five different playing modes beginning from 5232 yards and going up to 6975 yards. A practice fairway is also present. The scenic beauty of the course is enhanced by the presence of lakes, streams and Heritage oaks present all over the course. The Clubhouse in the Serrano Country Club incorporates stylish dining spaces and lounge areas, a grille room, a banquet hall, locker rooms for males and females, golf amenities and outdoor dining terraces.
 

The Golf Memberships in this Serrano Country Club are equity, whereas the Sport Memberships are non-equity. However, membership is limited. Only 450 Golf Members, 150 Sports Members and 25 Associate Memberships are permissible. The Membership Committee provides final approval for membership applications to this El Dorado Hills Country Club. At present, for obtaining membership to this Serrano Country Club, it is not obligatory to own any El Dorado Hills real estate. The membership can be sold, but the transfer can be made only to this El Dorado Hills Country Club itself. The club includes a junior-Olympic sized swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and a a toddler pool as well.

But the climate is dry and so the heat is not unbearable. Winter temperature generally ranges between 48 and 54 degrees.  Snowfall rarely occurs. Fog is far less than the neighboring Sacramento, because El Dorado Hills lies above the fog line. Most of the rainfall occurs in the months of November through March. The wettest and the coldest month is January.
